Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) issued three guiding documents on delivery of corn starch futures on the 19th, including the “Delivery Business Guide for the Designated Delivery Warehouses of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)”, the “Delivery Business Guide for the Designated Quality Inspection Institutions of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)” and the “Delivery Business Guide for the Members and Clients of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)”. It is learnt that the series of guides sort out and integrate the rules related to the delivery business into a one-volume edition, solving the current problem that the market participants had to consult the different business rules in which the requirements for the delivery business are scattered so as to fully understand the delivery business.
Since the listing in December 2014, the corn starch futures have recorded steady operation. A DCE official said that DCE is formulating the delivery business guides for other futures, which will be issued successively in the future, in a bid to help the market participants get familiar with the delivery business and better participate in the futures market.
